A short piece of advice...
When the fishing is slow it is good to stop and look around! This is what I looked up and saw and the frustrations of no carp biting my fly went away instantly. This blog will talk a lot about gear and tactics over the years but there will be no shortage of these.
Also... I am trying to work this guy into my logo :)
